About Event

Hinges is the annual technical symposium of the school of civil engineering at SASTRA university. The passion and micromanagement shown during the previous years has helped hinges carve a niche for itself as the biggest and most successful departmental symposium SASTRA has ever witnessed. "bring into being" , the theme of Hinges'16 will play a vital role in encouraging young minds to come up with smart, innovative ideas to shape Smart Cities, as it is the civil engineers who hold an upper hand in its development.

Don't build air castles anymore, you have a chance to live it now!Prepare your very own model and bring into being.

2. Construir el boat :
Do you have the nerve to contrive a model of a boat spiced up with your own discretion? If so, kudos on finding your niche.

3. Technical Quiz:
Put your fingers on the buzzer and brainstorm the event.

4.Ultimate Hinge:
Scratch your heads off to explore every possible way to design a "Water Distribution System " for your city.

5.Smart cities,Smart solutions:
Are you one among the smart citizens of the country? Take up this smart city challenge and prove your mettle!
